This should be a reletivly quiet week giving way to another busy weekend at the restaurant. Mid week is a nice opportuity to enjoy the warm weather and a nice leisurly meal on our deck.
The weekend ahead will be a busy one, with several weddings and rehearsal dinners.

Look what some recent guests had to say about our Captain’s Quarters 3 bedroom unit;
“We were very pleased with our visit at the Dockside (Captains Quarters), great staff and great accommodations. We come periodically with the whole family (my elderly parents live in Durham) and rented a house on the Nubble the last time. Although that was a great experience, the Captain’s Quarters offered the same flexibility as the house with the additional security of having a front desk and easy check in etc. over the house rental.”

Signs by Mo recently installed our new sign. Thanks Kristen, beautiful work, a big improvement over the old sign.

Dockside's Maine House circa 1920
This is how Dockside’s Maine House looked around 1920. It is believed to have been a “summer cottage” up until the time David Lusty bought it and Harris Island in 1953. David, then over the years developed Harris Island into Dockside Guest Quarters & Restaurant and York Harbor Marine Service.
