What You’ll Find at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire

At the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire, there are many ways to discover fun! Guided, self-guided, and group visits take you through the museum with plenty of time to explore. Here are some of your options.

Self-Guided Visits

With a self-guided visit, you’ll have the chance to bring hands-on learning and discovery to your kids! The museum has increased in size and scope to better serve children of all ages. It’s perfect for kids on vacation, a weekend trip with grandparents, or a summertime activity. Self-guided tours are available in 2-hour and 1.5-hour visits at a cost of $6 per child.

Group Visit + Program

The group visit with a program is great for a more personal touch to your hands-on learning experience. Schedule the group visit with a program in advance for just $8 per child. Then, choose which program you want the kids to experience. Choose between a Science + Math program featuring nocturnal animals, deep sea creatures, dinosaurs, or patterns. Or, a State History/World Cultures/Art featuring New Hampshire history, celebrations of the world, mask making, and fish printing. Even more, you can choose the Ecology program which features river builders and a recycling workshop.

Group Visit + STEAM Lab

This 2.5-hour visit makes a wonderful learning experience. Elect for the group visit plus STEAM learning lab, and choose between nine different programs like “Mission to the Moon,” “Birds, Beaks, and Adaptations,” or “Water: Who Needs It?” to complete the trip. Each program is an hour long, leaving an hour and a half for exploration of the museum. At just $9 per child, it’s well worth it!
