Experience the Best of the Granite State Growler Tours

granite state growler tours

The craft beer craze has overtaken the nation for good reason, and brewery tours are becoming a regular addition to the itinerary of people visiting new cities and states. While most brewery tours are done on foot, Granite State Growler Tours offers their tour participants something a bit better: a ride on “Greta the Growler Getta,” a bus that transports suds-seekers from brewery to brewery in Portsmouth, NH, and the surrounding area. Operated by two friends, Granite State Growler Tours offers fun, relaxing tours for craft beer lovers!

Brewery tours are just a few of the great ways to take in a vacation in Maine. At Dockside Guest Quarters, we want you to have the best vacation possible, so you can trust our recommendations!

Granite State Growler Tours

Tours

When you take a ride with Granite State Growler Tours, you’ll cover more ground and put a lot less effort into the trip than you would on a walking tour. Tours start and end at The Community Oven in Hampton, home to some of the best wood-fired pizza in the area. From there, you’ll board Greta, and owner David and tour guide Mark will take you on one of six tours. Stops include popular New England breweries like Smuttynose Brewing, SoMe Brewing, and local favorites including Earth Eagle Brewings, and more. Each stop includes beer tastings, and when you find a brewery you like, you can fill up your growler! (included with your ticket).

The Saturday Beer Run is Granite State Growler Tours first tour and features stops at Throwback Brewery, Smuttynose Brewing, Earth Eagle Brewings, and as well as Sea Hagg Distillery. The Sunday Driver – Cafe Racer Edition takes passengers to two breweries, a distillery, and WHYM Craft Beer Cafe (a fun stop that features great beer and food!) If you want to get a taste of what’s brewing in Dover, try the Ovah to Dovah! tour. You’ll visit Tall Ship Distillery, Garrison City Beerworks, 7th Settlement, and North Country Hard Cider. Visit the Tours page for more information on all of their great options!

Ticket Prices and More

Granite State Growler Tours tickets are available for $60, and only available to those 21 and older. Your ticket covers the price of beer tastings at each stop, a growler fill, a snack, the bus ride, and more!

Tours are offered on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and each day features different options. Granite State Growler Tours also partners with local breweries and craft beer stores to offer tour participants discounts!
