Why You Should Take a Smuttynose Brewery Tour

Smuttynose Brewery Tour

For any beer lover, it shouldn’t take much convincing to go on a Smuttynose Brewery Tour. Located south of Portsmouth in Hampton, NH, the craft brewery brews fantastic beer and has for nearly 25 years. The brewery puts an emphasis on creativity, authenticity, quality, sustainability, and the result is great beer you’ll love to drink. For beer lovers, especially, a Smuttynose Brewery Tour is sure to satisfy.

There are many great reasons to vacation to Maine, and the proximity to so many wonderful things to do is certainly one of them. Here at Dockside Guest Quarters in York, ME, we are happy to recommend more fun things to do. We want you to have an incredible time while you’re here, so you can trust our recommendations!

What You Will Experience on a Smuttynose Brewery Tour

It’s quite an experience to walk around the 270-barrel fermentation tanks in the brewery, and that’s exactly what you’ll do on a Smuttynose Brewery Tour. Follow your tour guide through the brewery atmosphere full of bottlers and brewers, smells of yeast, malt, hops, and more. And, at the end of the tour, sample a selection of the beer you just had the pleasure of meeting. While tours are free, a suggested $2 donation can be applied to either of the non-profits Smuttynose supports. In addition to the free tour, sampler cards are $4 and include four samples of your choosing. This is the perfect vacation experience for any beer lover.
